>Tondemonai Fansubs: Lotte no Omocha 02

>

Yay! Finally a timely release. If you were unaware, my goal for Lotte is to have each episode translation done and released before the next episode releases. And so far we’ve stuck with it, excluding the first episode because of delays! But, yep! Here’s Astarotte no Omocha episode 02. Head over to Tondemonai Fansubs for the torrents or direct download links.

>A Release From Tondemonai Fansubs’ Failure Subs Division – Saint October 21 Subtitles

>

Yes, and hello! Welcome to the Failure Aisle here at the Tondemonai Fansubs Supermarket! I, Onion, am in charge of this shoddy place! Now, let me explain what the Failure Subs Division does, and who makes it up. The only members of the Failure Subs Division, as of now, are Onion, Onion, and umm… a cool looking pair of sunglasses.

Now, what does the Failure Subs Division over there at Tondemonai Subs do exactly?! Good Question!! Basically, I get bored and I go and subtitle a random episode of anime, just because I can. Haha! Take for instance, this release. Saint October – 21. This one was actually a request from Atvrcr. A request from about 6 months ago or something like that. But, see, I got bored. So, I said, “Atvrcr, my friend, I’m finally gonna sub that Saint October episode for you.” See, Atvrcr is upset that no one ever completed that show.

Anyway, I do not claim that these subs are accurate. I do, however claim that they are enough to get you through an episode with about a 50% chance that you are able to follow what is going on. See, I do these subtitles by listening to a line once. Then I either put an accurate translation, a near guess, or I leave it blank if I have absolutely no idea.

Finally, these subs are not meant to be taken seriously. I’m just pushing my limits by doing this. Does that mean my other subs are crap? No. The Tonde team works hard to provide the best translation possible in their official releases. The Tonde team is not involved in the Failure Division. In fact, they know nothing about it yet. Haha… But! These subs do have a purpose, as highlighted in these 2 points:

1. These subs allow you to understand the most of the dialogue of the anime episode you are watching

or

2. These subs make some actually good translators realize that they need to stop my madness and set things straight with a good set of subtitles.

Anyway, thanks for taking your time to listen to my nonsense. For now, just go and grab your crappy subtitles for Saint October 21. But remember, this is all Onion. If you have a problem with my crap, blame me.

Saint October – 21 Subs

Any requests? Shoot. I’m listening.

>Touhou Sangetsusei: Oriental Sacred Place Chapter 5 Released

>

As per requested from my buddy Bluewolf963 from Tondemonai Fansubs, I have translated chapter 5 of Touhou Sangetsusei: Oriental Sacred Place. This was a much easier project in some ways and yet  a much harder project in others.

The things that made it easy? Well, it was already rotated and leveled which pretty much cut the work in half. Unfortunately I have no idea who did the rotating and leveling.

What made it hard? The dialogue in this manga was pretty vague and random. It’s pretty hard to translate stuff when you don’t have enough context to figure out why someone is saying something.

Anyway, I’ll be continuing this manga. I should be able to get them done quite quickly. I say this, but we all know I’m super lazy haha. I’m still looking for raws of Ashita no Familia. If anyone has any information on that, I’d like to know. Well then, on to the download link!

>Ashita no Familia Chapter 1 Released

>

Yay! After a few weeks of hard work, I have finally finished translating chapter 1 of Ashita no Familia. Ashita no Familia is a manga about a boy named Ashita who has lost his parents in an accident two years ago. Because of their death, Ashita takes over the business of managing the family hotel. Just when Ashita figures it’s time to allow guests to start re-applying to stay at the hotel, Noi, a vampire turns Ashita’s whole world upside down.

Ashita no Familia looked like something fun to translate, so I went ahead with it, Spornax taught me a lot about scanlating, and I did my best so that I could show him how much I’ve learned.

I’d like to continue translating this manga, however I am unable to find any more scanned chapters. So if anyone has the manga or knows where scans of it can be found, I’d love to know.

Well anyway, after 3 days of trying to upload the manga to mangafox, they have finally added the manga to the website. Now I just have to get the chapter that I uploaded to be checked by a moderator and I’ll be able to post a link to it on this post, so check back later. For now, all I have for you is a media fire link.
