I was wondering why the song Fallen Angel was so long on the ost… Anyway, today I actually had the sense to fast forward through it just in case it wasn’t some kind of horrible error. So yes, at the end of the mp3 Panty and Stocking are holding a conversation. After some jokes Panty makes about a Season 2, 3, 4, 100, and even a mention of “Panty and Stocking in Space,” things get more serious and Panty announces that, “Coming up next is Panty and Stocking season 2.” Stocking retaliates by saying something along the lines of “Hey, we’re still not sure about that!”
With the amount of awesomeness that exploded out of the anime that is Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, it’s no surprise that there would be consideration of a season 2. I hope it happens, and I’ll be looking forward to a season 2. Well, I still haven’t even watched the final episode of season 1 yet for reasons I disclosed in my post made earlier today. I’m going to have to go and watch it right away.
UPDATE: Ah, apparently there’s a “to be continued in next season” in episode 13 lol.
According to THIS the OST to Panty and Stocking will be released on 12/29. It will feature the OP and ED as well as three other songs and the BGM of the show. I don’t know how long this info has been out but I just found out about it and am excited. December is looking to be a good month with this news and the release of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya on bluray. Be sure to mark your calendars!
Synopsis: If there’s one thing I love, it’s hearing English curse words in anime. Whenever I hear them, I’m overwhelmed with laughter for some reason. And Panty and Stocking has lots of English curse words, and every episode there seems to be more and more.
Hearing things like “faku” in this anime is has become pretty standard, but in this episode, they were particularly creative.
After a somewhat lackluster first episode Panty and Stocking is finally hitting its stride. Episodes 2 and 3 of the show are downright hilarious and weeaboos need to stop complaining about the fucking art style. The script may be somewhat juvinile and somewhat easy to predict but you cant deny the show is funny when its all put together. The music in this show is also great. Just go watch ffs.
Well what can I say about this unique show. It has a very PPG-esque art style and I was totally digging that fact. The humor was different, I mean some of the stuff was aimed towards adults but many of the jokes felt like they were meant to be watched on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network by children. From what I’ve seen in the first episode, I wouldn’t call it amazing, but I would call it entertaining. I say watch it and judge for yourself because you are either going to love it or hate it. Oh the OP bugs me, I like the OP animation but the song is what gets to me,
> Honestly, when I first heard of this anime a while back, I felt a bit disgusted because of the horrible similarity to what I know as “cartoons.” But after seeing this PV, it seems like I was mistaken. The art is actually kinda refeshing. Obviously, I wouldn’t want all anime to look like this, because I’m used to what we have now, and I hate change, but… that’s another post.
Panty＆Stocking with Garterbelt seems to be a cross between Powerpuff girls, Invader Zim, and a certain amount of ecchiness; all of which are okay in my book. Take a look at the PV.
